The man who scored Liverpool’s goal of the month for a four month streak may possibly leave the Reds for a game changing transfer to Real Madrid. Barcelona is also a strong contender in this transfer, especially if Messi leaves anytime soon, but nonetheless, right now, there are strong chances for Salah to come to Spain and play in La Liga.

Talking about La Liga, Barcelona has finally managed to win in a glorious fashion. So far, they have won every game they’ve played this year. Let’s hope this streak stays strong for a while. Back to their amazing game, for a change, their defense was well thought out and Umtiti was at the core of it. De Jong also had a strong performance and played really well, much like he did at Ajax. Dembele is also working to better himself to improve Barca and with that being said, we can’t forget Griezmann and his two magnificent goals. Last but not least, Messi had a sensational goal and a phenomenal free kick. If Barca continues to play like they did against Granada, then they definitely have a shot at winning the La Liga and possibly beating PSG in their upcoming UCL match.

In the English Premier League, Man United and Liverpool are battling it out for the top spot on the table, but other clubs aren’t far behind and this year’s title could really belong to any club as of now. Man City has also managed to come out of their rut and have managed to stay undefeated (won or drew matches) for their past 13 games. Will 13 be their lucky or unlucky number? Leicester is also playing well and stably as usual, but they just aren’t at the top yet, but remain above City and in the Top 4.
And to wrap up 2020, the one that cannot be hated, the one and only, Robert Lewandowski won the player of the year award. His reaction was extremely genuine and he was extremely happy. He is the second person after Modric, to win this award who’s not Messi or Ronaldo. Ronaldo even voted for him as his #1 pick and Messi as his second. He truly chose fair candidates and embodied sportsmanship this year, unlike Messi and his biased votes for PSG players. Lewy also stated how “Kids from Poland are not supposed to be the best player” and “to trust your instincts” to express his happiness and love for football.
