In an exciting match between Parisian giants PSG and German Champions Bayern Munich, the latter prevailed victorious. It is safe to say that this win was well deserved. They won the treble yet again this year and became the third team to win a European treble twice, only after Porto and Barcelona. They also managed to win every game en route to get to the finals. While the match itself wasn’t that exciting, it is safe to say that the end result was. Both teams really tried their best and deserved to be in the final. The first half of the game was quite uneventful. Though it is safe to say that PSG seemed to have the edge of Bayern. But luckily for Bayern, Neuer was in form and saved multiple good attempts from PSG. Kudos to Flick for utilizing Müller and Neuer to the fullest and bringing them back to their prime. Neuer was an absolute beast on the field and was definitely the MOTM. He’s not only the best German goalie but arguably the best in the world. It’s safe to say that Lewandowski killed it as he did all season. Davies was also remarkable and is probably one of the world’s best left backs at the moment. He’s also the first Canadian to win a UCL and his speed is obviously unrivaled. Kimmich was also amazing on the field, especially with his pass. And finally, the man who scored the goal, Kingsley Coman and his angled bottom-right header. A mention to Coutinho as well, who won his UCL trophy while being a loan from Barca. He finally got the respect he deserves as well.

Overall, this was a wholesome and fair match, despite our referee handing out cards like pamphlets. AND CONGRATS TO BAYERN FOR WINNING THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!!
