The time to rewatch classics and highlights has finally come to an end as The German Bundesliga has returned and with it the hopes of millions of fans across the world. One of its first exciting matches included fan favourites and the top notch Dortmund vs Schalke. Dortmund beat the latter by four glorious goals, two of which were scored by the Portuguese Guerreiro. Despite the huge margin, Schalke didn’t go down in vain, they took on multiple shots and tried their best to maintain possession of the ball. better luck next time! As a Bayern fan, I truly enjoyed yesterday’s match against Frankfurt. Munchen managed to beat Frankfurt 5-2. Lewandowski bought a smile on every fans face after scoring his goal on the 46′ minute followed by Muller’s goal. But Frankfurt stayed strong especially Hinteregger for scoring both of their goals and Rode for magnificently assisting them. Muller also equaled his number of assists to City player De Bruyne’s with his 17′ assist in the first half of the game of the Bundesliga. Will he be able to beat the Belgian’s record? I certainly think so. Speaking of history, in yesterday’s match between Monchengladbach and Leverkusen, there were about 20,000 cardboard cutouts of fans at the Borussia Park. There were also cutouts of legendary players who played on the same field and these cutouts were donated by avid fans. The look of the stadium is quite bizarre but it sure gave the players the much required motivation and support. Stay tuned for more soccer news and stay safe.
