Covid-19 has the world in ruins and it’s done the same to the soccer world. Under normal circumstances, I’d be blogging about the UCL games today but they are in Holt because of the virus. Thousands of people are being affected by it every day and the same applies to soccer. Multiple players, coaches and staff members have the coronavirus, the most prominent cases being Arsenal’s manager Arteta, Juve defender Rugani and Chelsea boy Callum Hudson Odoi. All soccer leagues have been cancelled and by all I mean all, la Liga, premier League, ligue 1, bundesliga, MLS, etc.. Even elite competitions like the champions League and Euro’s cup are postponed for now. Earlier this month Italy was playing under closed doors but all matches have been suspended for now. More updates on the virus are soon to come.
