Manchester city wins their first cup of the season by beating Aston Villa in the EFL. Aguero and Rodri helped secure the win by scoring the goals for City. Looks like Man City fans still have some hope. But unless they win the Champions League this season, there is a good chance that they may lose some players. Luckily for City, most star players like KDB and Jesus are bound to the club for at least the next two years. Pep Guardiola is also to stay with City until 2021 and is ready for an extension, for now, with the hopes that Manchester City will appeal against the FFP regulations and compete in the UCL. With Man City losing six games this season, being banned from UCL for two seasons (probably) and being 22 points behind Liverpool, they really needed to win the Carabao cup in order to keep their reputation and hold their heads high. Will keep you guys posted.
