Looks like Barca’s new year is certainly here but it’s not as refreshing as all fans hoped it was. Most Barcelona fans, myself included, were delighted by the fact that Valvarde left Barcelona after losing a couple of games, the most prominent being Barca vs Liverpool in the Champions League. After being sacked and replaced by Setein, it turns out that many fans were rather disappointed. After already losing two La Liga games, fans are certainly not happy. Moreover, it looks like the Barca golden boy had a fallout with Barca’s director about certain Valvarde comments claiming that he wasn’t one of the players that wanted Ernesto out of Barca and that the Director should name the player rather than shaming every players’ integrity and reputation. I myself am having mix thoughts about Barca’s season especially with Griezmann (apparently) isolated by spanish teammates, Suarez injured and Dembele facing 6 months recovery time, Barca may actually end up in ruins. It’s a good thing that they have Achilles on their side but even he had his downfall through his heel, that may be Man City and Pep Guardiola in this case.
