Arsenal star Mesut Ozil had some controversial claims over the treatment of Muslims in China through his twitter and instagram account. He was met with a lot of criticism from China and Chinese fans and Chinese tv also made the decision to not broadcast Sunday’s Arsenal claim. On the other side, he is seen as symbol of hope among other muslims as he is willing to speak up. As a muslim himself he had a lot to say along with a strong viewpoint. He received a lot of positive response from others on his posts too. Arsenal hasn’t said anything about his views yet and remains neutral.
