This season is going to be quite spine chilling and ravishing. But before that lets see what this preseason has accomplished. In the International Champions cup, which according to me is a rather lacking copy of the champions leagues, Arsenal is at the top of the table despite their defeat at the hands of the mighty Real Madrid. In Griezmann’s first debut game for Barcelona, he played ok as he is still adjusting but Frenkie de Jong has jumped right in with the 100% pass accuracy. This Ajax star might be the most underrated signing of the season. Chelsea won the match 2-1 along with their private Barcelona twitter war. Juventus beat rival Inter Milan in a penalty knockout due to Matthijs De Ligt’s own goal. But we still love him and with Ronaldo as his mentor, this dude is going to kick it once the season starts. Messi also gets a one game ban along with a fine for his words against the Copa America authorities and Brazil. Bale is very close to leaving Madrid and joining Bayern Munich, the German powerhouse, or Liverpool, the current Champions league winners. Neymar got an offer for Barcelona but it probably got a negative review from PSG, as Neymar is now reaching out to other teams like Man united and Juventus as well. Trippier joined Atletico Madrid to fill Griezmann’s spot. Pogba may join Real Madrid after Bale’s departure and this about covers this week of preseason football, soccer or futbol, as you like it.
